OVERVIEW                             RACENIGHTS.UK.COM

Having presented race nights for the past 20 years as an MC. / operator, I was somewhat dismayed at the quality offered by some race night suppliers.  I have therefore set up this company with new and exciting races using the latest technology and offering a quality of service that will satisfy the needs of the most demanding race night organizer.

Run in much the same way as a lottery, it is not strictly "gambling", but a "game of chance" as described  in the  Lottery and Amusements Act 1976.  No skill or judgement is required as the winning horse is a number chosen at random after bets have been placed.

The Races:  All our races on DVD have close finishes with many of the worlds leading horses and jockeys racing for real at race courses from around the UK. No contrived finishes, no holding back, your audience really will have something to shout about as they watch their selections battle it out, on the flat or over the fences. Our on-screen leader board shows the position of the first four runners as they race round the track, so that your audience can keep a check on the progress of   the runners throughout the race, should the cheers drown out the soundtrack.

Commentary:  Each race has a short light hearted preview of the runners "form" which will "heighten the tension" and produce a smile as the audience settle in their seats ready for the "off ".

Fun to Run:  The flexible format of a Race Night allows inclusion of other activities such as Dinner, Buffet, Disco, Prize Giving, Fancy Dress, Casino Night etc: At the beginning of the Race Night the 2 minute introductory film will set the scene for your audience. The "Introduction Film" will focus attention on what is about to happen and give your M.C. the opportunity to introduce himself when it has finished. Once underway, the audience may purchase as many Tote tickets as they wish on as many horses as they wish. There are 8 runners in each race and the number of each runner is clearly marked on the saddle cloth. Depending on the size of your audience, no more than 15 to 20 minutes should be allowed between races for betting. Each race lasts for 3 to 5 minutes, so that 6 races should take about 1 to 2 hours and 8 races 2 to 3 hours. When betting has finished and the Tote is closed, a member of the audience selects the film to be shown. Whilst the race is being run, the payout official will have the opportunity to calculate the amount to be paid on the winning horse.
